  • Year 6 Update
    As we head towards the end of the term, we’re tying up some of the loose ends of the Year Six curriculum.

    Florrie (Y5) an Lottie (Y3) competed in the Phoenix SMA taekwondo tournament last Saturday against 2 other clubs.

    On Saturday 18 June, Samuel (Y6) competed in his first taekwondo tournament at Hamble Sports Complex.
  • Bishop’s Waltham Housing Research Project:
    All pupils at BWJS participated in a research project today alongside members of Bishop’s Waltham Oral History Group.
  • Ceilidh Dancing Festival
    On Monday 20th June, members of the BWJS Ceilidh Dancing Club performed at a very special Ceilidh Festival held at the Jubilee Hall.
  • BWJS Eco Champions Litter Project
    In a bid to keep Bishop’s Waltham Junior School free from litter, the Eco Champions have organised a rota of LITTER PICKERS
  • Taekwondo Success:
    On Saturday 18th June, Theo (Y4) and some of the other students from his martial arts club attended a TaeKwonDo tournament in Hamble against teams from Basingstoke and Reading.
  • Athletics Success
    Kezia, (Y5) represented Winchester Athletics at the Wessex League competition on the weekend and earned PB’s in the hurdles and 100m (14.9 seconds and 1st place!)
