Welcome to Year 3, your child's first year at Bishop's Waltham Junior School!

We are looking forward to an exciting and successful year as the children begin the next stage of their educational journey. We understand that moving from infant school to junior school is a significant milestone, and we work hard to ensure that every child feels happy, settled and confident as they make this important transition. Building on the excellent foundations laid at infant school, Year 3 offers many new opportunities, challenges and experiences, helping children to grow in confidence, independence and responsibility.

The Year 3 teaching team consists of Mr Spiers, Mr Watton, Mrs Thomas and Mrs Tarling.

We are also fortunate to be supported by our wonderful Teaching Assistants, Mrs Collier, Mrs Amos and Mrs Henderson, who work closely with children across the year group to help them thrive both academically and personally.

We look forward to working in partnership with you and your child throughout the year and to celebrating their achievements along the way.
