Welcome to Year 4

Welcome to Year 4 at Bishop's Waltham Junior School.

 

Having successfully settled into junior school during Year 3, Year 4 is an exciting year in which children continue to develop their confidence, independence and resilience as learners. Throughout the year, pupils are encouraged to take greater ownership of their learning, challenge themselves academically and further develop the skills needed to become successful, well-rounded individuals.

 

Year 4 offers many opportunities for children to build upon the strong foundations established in Year 3, whilst exploring new topics, experiences and responsibilities. We aim to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment where every child feels supported, valued and inspired to achieve their very best.

 

The Year 4 teaching team consists of Mrs Senior & Mrs Wright (Ash Class) and Mr McKenna (Jackalberry Class)

 

We are also fortunate to be supported by our fantastic Teaching Assistants, Mrs Bathgate and Mrs Gill, who work closely with children across the year group, providing encouragement and support to help every pupil flourish both academically and personally.
